Tribute to Volunteerism
Lakeland proudly displays the Tribute to Volunteerism, a sculpture by Albert Paley. Paley's work in forged metal is celebrated around the world. His renown approach to form development can also be found in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, and the Smithsonian's National Museum of American Art.
The Tribute to Volunteerism is infused with the life, color, and energy which embodies the many volunteers it honors. Dedicated in 2004, you'll find this artwork at the Beautiful Lake Mirror in downtown Lakeland, Florida.
